FOUNDATION APPLICATION OF MINERAL ESSENCE

1. Mineral Primer: use a dime to nickel size amount of Mineral Primer. Apply and smooth over entire face, as you would a moisturizer.

1A and 2A

2. Apply Mineral Essence Foundation for your desired coverage:
Sheer: Using ME Kabuki Brush: (See Diagram 1A)

A. Place Foundation container upside-down in the palm of your hand. Tap bottom of container twice*, turn over and remove lid.

B. Using the Mineral Essence Kabuki Brush, swirl brush into product until all powder is collected by the Kabuki Brush. Tap brush against container or lid to remove excess mineral powder.

C. To apply, gently sweep the brush over your entire face, using a buffing motion, counter-clock wise on the right side of face and clock wise on the left.
Repeat steps A, B & C until you've achieved the desired coverage.

Medium: Using ME Kabuki Brush:
Repeat "procedure for Sheer Coverage" once more in the areas you need more coverage.**

1B

Medium: Using Damp Sponge: (See Diagram 1B)
A. Place Foundation container upside-down in the palm of your hand. Tap bottom of container twice*, turn over and remove lid.

B. Using a slightly damp sponge, tap sponge into product to pick up.

C. To apply, gently sweep the sponge over your entire face, as you would a liquid foundation. Then take the same sponge and use a stipple motion over entire face for a perfect coverage.

Repeat steps A, B & C until you've achieved the desired coverage.

FULL: Using a ME Beauty Puff:
A. Remove sifter from foundation container.

B. Using the Mineral Essence Beauty Puff, press puff into product until half the puff is covered. Fold puff in half and rub together so both sides are coated with powder.

C. To apply, gently buff the puff over your entire face, using the buffing motion, counter-clock wise on the right side of face and clock-wise on the left.
Repeat steps A, B & C until you've achieved the desired coverage.

3. Magic Finish: (See Diagram 2A)
A. Place Magic Finish container upsidedown in the palm of your hand. Tap bottom of container twice*, turn over and remove lid.

B. Using the Mineral Essence Kabuki Brush, swirl brush into product until all powder is collected by the Kabuki Brush. Tap brush against container or lid to remove excess mineral powder.

C. To apply, gently sweep the brush over your entire face, using a buffing motion, counter-clock wise on the right side of face and clock-wise on the left.

You should not need to repeat this process, unless you wish to.**
TIP: Apply blush after Foundation, then apply Magic Finish. This provides a natural over-all look.

*Tapping twice is only an estimate; you may need to tap more or less depending on the amount of powder desired. If you would like more control over the amount of powder despenced, use the following tip: Leave the sifter "seal" when opening a new product and puncture out fewer of holes.

**One of the main minerals is Mica, which is a natural shine for the face. Over layering will result in a "shiny" appearance.

MINERAL ESSENCE TIPS & TRICKS

3A, 3B and 3C

Shaping the Brow
Whether you are trying to achieve a natural or bolder evening look,
the brows frame the eyes, as well as the face, and are an important step in your overall look.
It is easier to shape your brows by applying color to small sections at a time and alternating between brows as you go: (See Diagram 4)

1.
Inner left brow (See Diagram 3A)

2. Inner right brow

3. Middle left brow (See Diagram 3B)

4. Middle right brow

5. Outer left brow (See Diagram 3C)

6. Outer right brow
The brow should start directly above the corner of the eye and end where a direct line would be from the nose to the corner of the eye.
(See Diagram 3D)

3D

TIP: Always start with the brow that is more difficult for you: if you are right handed this will most likely be your left side and if you are left handed this will most likely be your right side.

You can use ME Liner Shadow color wet or dry to enhance, fill in or create the shape of your brows. As a guideline we suggest:

USE DRY: if your brows are naturally full and need little, if any, correcting or creating. Using the Angled Liner Brush dry, press into desired color, tap off excess and apply using the steps above.

USE WET: if your brows have bare spots that need filling in or the shape needs to be created. Using the Angled Eye Shadow Brush dry, scoop a small amount of powder into the cap then dampen the brush, mix with the powder placed in cap and scrape off excess mixture using the edge of the cap. Apply small brush strokes, creating the appearance of hair, in the bare areas or where ever you need to create the shape. After brow fullness and shape is created, apply to remaining areas using the steps above.

EYELINER:

In addition to the Deep Space and Down To Earth liner shadow, you can use any ME Shadow or Shimmer as an eyeliner and all of them can be applied either wet or dry.

4A

USE DRY: for a soft look, use the Angled Eyeliner Brush to apply eyeliner by pressing into the desired color, tapping off the excess and apply as desired.

USE WET: for a more defined look, use the Angled Eyeliner Brush or the Eyeliner Brush by scooping a small amount into the cap, wet brush, mix with powder and apply as desired.

4b

Natural Eyeliner:
You can achieve a natural lined look, with either the dry or wet method, by following these simple steps:
Top Lashes

1. With color on brush, start on the inner eye, place brush on lashline and drag toward center of the eye. (See Diagram 4A)

2. Add more color on brush, place brush on outer lashline and drag toward center. (See Diagram 4B)
Bottom Lashes

3. With color on brush, start on center of eye under the lashline and sweep color toward outer eye then toward inner eye.
